Sleeping at The Riverside
The hotel features a range of tasteful and individual accommodation, in both design and function.
Some of the rooms incorporate architectural features often hidden in many period properties, such as beams and roof structures; some have four poster beds, fine leather seating and antique details, and most have views over the gardens and gently meandering River Wye.
The Garden Rooms allow french-door access onto the garden patio, where you can sip a chilled Pimms on a warm summer evening whilst sitting on a Lutyens bench with table and parasol, observing the garden and river, with its itinerant wildlife.
The Kingfisher Room is ideal for your special occasion, featuring a four poster bed, luxurious fabrics, a fine, well equipped bathroom, a wealth of small details, and superlative views over the aforementioned garden and river.
The Mulberry Room features antique leather chairs and detailing, fine fabrics, exposed beams, a delightfully concealed television, and a wonderful bathroom with roll top bath, all done with a general turn-of-the-century opulence.
Whatever your choice, all our bedrooms have private fully-equipped bathrooms, television with satellite channels, radio, individual controlled heating, telephone, fresh coffee & tea tray, sherry, nuts, bottled water, bathrobes, trouser press, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, writing space, and an attention to detail that will ensure your stay is both a comfortable and a memorable one.
